Meet Elisa

Elisa earned a B.S. in Biology from the University of Notre Dame and worked closely with the FDA in vaccine regulatory affairs and quality control for over a decade. After caring for her children for several years, she returned to school and earned a master’s degree in Education and became a middle school science teacher.

After retiring from teaching, Elisa wanted to pursue a career doing what she loved… baking. She attended culinary school at the Culinary Arts Institute at Montgomery County Community College and simultaneously took art classes at the Woodmere Art Museum in Chestnut Hill to fine tune her artistic abilities. After completing her two year program in culinary school, and graduating with the highest distinction, she began her search for the perfect kitchen location.

Years of training and study have culminated in her becoming the Founder and Pastry Chef of Baker’s Kitchen. The 2,500 square foot, newly renovated, state-of-the-art kitchen is a dream come true!
